Are you using android to best of its abilities? if No, then explore more apps on android market ,if its not available there then download the .apk on http://androidfreeware.net/
and install it with appInstaller.(While doing this make sure that your android phone's SD card is not connected to lappy)
One interesting application(.apk) I got on http://androidfreeware.net/ is BestTube.Then I installed it using appinstaller . M'So happy, videos are getting downloaded very quickly now :)
When I had written this post TubeMate was not available. Now it is available officialy
